Thank you all for attending our Back to School Open House last night. I appreciate your willingness to take time out of your nights to come back to school. I know that life is busy.
Today your students showed me what amazing writers they are as we began to talk about writing Narratives. I am continually impressed by the ideas flowing from my students.
Tonight your students have two sheets of math homework. The main concept with these sheets is using graphic organizers to solve story problems. You will see two different graphic organizers on the two sheets of homework. Remind your students to paint a picture of the story. What is the story telling them?
