Thank you all for volunteering to bring things for tomorrows activities! We will begin with some games around 1:15-1:35 and then we will enjoy our treats and head home. You are more than welcome to come (I might put you to work helping with the games!).
Today in math we worked on finding the perimeter of polygons. We built different shapes out of twisty ties and straws and then measured them to find the perimeter.
The math lesson took us a good portion of the morning, but they did a great job!
Today we had Art and the students worked on finishing their castles with water-colored paint.
We also worked on finishing up a lot of assignment we started this week and last week.
Ask your students about the book we are reading aloud called "To Catch A Mermaid." We are almost done, and they all were begging for me to keep reading. It makes me so excited when the students love to hear stories!
