It was a birthday day in our class. We celebrated 4 birthdays! I told the students they could only eat one of the birthday treats that was brought. The other they are bringing home in a baggie. If it doesn't make it home, they might have eaten it on the bus!
This morning we did our math rotations. We will be starting our new unit when we get back next week, beginning with a pre-test on Monday.
I do not have homework for them over this four day weekend, however, it would be VERY good for them to read each night and practice their addition and subtraction math facts. If you are in the car driving, just ask them orally.
Also, if any parents would like to donate treats for our Harvest Celebration on Friday, that would be greatly appreciated. I will make rice-crispy treats and bring those in, if you would like to bring something, please let me know. The students are allowed to wear orange and black but NO costumes.
